Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign priority to each vehicle Repair Order and select the appropriate Technician
  • Oversee shop workflow and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Arrange contract repairs when work cannot be performed internally
  • Inspect completed work and documentation to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Provide training and mentoring to new employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Monitor workspace and employees for Safety compliance and ensure a safe working environment
  • Communicate effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded
  • Maintain regular and dependable attendance, including working full shift and days scheduled (45 hours a week)

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory experience in Truck Service is preferred
  • Experience with Proceed or other Heavy-Duty Truck DMS
  • Highly effective verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
  • AA degree, technical school degree, or 4 years of related experience preferred
  • Computer skills to include Outlook, Word, Excel, & Repair Order Processing
