IEA Inc., a professional engineering services and construction management firm, is seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our Construction Engineering & Inspection Team in Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe and document contractor work methods to ensure quality project delivery.
  • Work under supervision on a project team, contributing to successful project delivery to clients.
  • Apply knowledge and skills in construction practices, specifications, and material testing.

Requirements:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • 2 years of construction experience or related technical training or college education.
  • Exposure to TxDOT materials testing and construction inspection procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret maps, charts, survey data, plans, and specifications.
  • Able to work long hours and/or overnight hours.
  • Open to travel.

Certifications:

  • TxAPA SB102 & Level 1B.
  • ACI Field Grade 1.
