Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Speech Pathologist to join our team at Washington University in St. Louis. As a Clinical Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including evaluations, goal setting, and treatment planning for teens and adults referred to speech therapy by physicians or community partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services in a safe and effective manner.
  • Conduct evaluations and establish treatment plans for patients with communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare practitioners, families, and caregivers to coordinate speech and language therapy intervention.
  • Participate in program development and implementation activities, as assigned.
  • Attend departmental meetings, conferences, and continuing education courses to stay current with best practices.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Illinois or Missouri.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in speech pathology.
