We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech and language assessments, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, and monitor progress for patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough evaluations to determine the nature and extent of communication disorders in patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, taking into consideration the patient's goals, needs, and preferences.
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to patients with various communication disorders, including articulation disorders, language delays, fluency disorders, voice disorders, and swallowing disorders.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care and achieve the best results for patients.
- Educate and involve family members in the therapy process, providing them with strategies and resources to support the patient's progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and other necessary documentation accurately and timely.
- Stay current with the latest research, techniques, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology, participating in professional development activities and continuing education opportunities.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Prior experience working with diverse populations across different settings preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in various settings and travel among locations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Professional demeanor and commitment to providing quality care to patients.
