Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Expanded Learning Program Assistant at King Elementary. As part of our East Bay After School Programs, you will have the opportunity to design and lead academic, physical, and enrichment activities that make a positive impact on the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Program Coordinator in the day-to-day operation of the program
  • Support program supervision and safety
  • Create and facilitate engaging enrichment and physical activities for students
  • Promote a safe and positive emotional climate in the classroom and on campus

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED and pass the Instructional Aide Exam OR 48 or more college units, OR Associate Degree
  • 1-2 years experience in a K-12 setting
  • Availability to work Monday - Friday, 25 hours per week, afternoons until 6 pm
  • Commitment to social justice, youth leadership, and development
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle multiple priorities and deadlines
