Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Specialist to join our finance team at Titanz Plumbing & AC. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent numerical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, and perform routine accounting tasks.
  • Monitor financial transactions and reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, handle payroll responsibilities, and ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Ensure an orderly accounting filing system and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Liaise with the accountant for year-end tax preparation and collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven bookkeeping experience and a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Data entry skills and a knack for numbers.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
  • Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop.
