**Job Summary**
Sentara CarePlex Hospital is currently hiring a Full Time, Day Shift Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist in a dynamic healthcare environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the performance of cardiac and vascular procedures under the direction of a qualified physician.
- Evaluate patient response to diagnostic or interventional maneuvers and medications during cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures.
- Provide patient care and drug administration commonly used in the cardiac catheterization laboratory as requested and under the direction of a qualified physician.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure maximum patient safety and comfort.
**Requirements:**
- Graduate of a diploma, associate, or bachelor level program in health science (includes, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing).
- New grads who are registry eligible will be considered and must be certified within 12 months of hire.
- 1 year of related work experience required.
