With a capacity of 253 beds, we are a not-for-profit organization that facilitates the delivery of approximately 6,000 babies annually and serves as a prominent medical teaching and research center.
Our specialty services cater to patients across the region, offering intensive care for infants and children, around-the-clock emergency services for both pediatric and adult patients, critical care air transport, and high-risk perinatal care.
Our workforce comprises over 1,400 staff members and more than 700 physicians who deliver specialized care.We house dedicated centers such as the Women's Center and the Women's Cancer Center, alongside various community programs, including specialty pediatric clinics and support services for child protection and treatment of abuse.
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is an integral part of our Perioperative Services, ensuring comprehensive support throughout the surgical process, from admission to recovery.
As a professional nurse, you will be responsible for assessing individual patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and coordinating nursing services to facilitate recovery post-surgery.
If you are a compassionate and attentive caregiver who thrives in a collaborative environment, you may be an excellent fit for our Registered Nurse role within the PACU. You will provide nursing services through thorough assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care. Additionally, you will work closely with a charge nurse and may eventually take on charge nurse responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse license. Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications. One (1) year of recent acute care experience in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field. Experience in pediatric and adult post-anesthesia care, sedation, and/or Intensive Care Unit. Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. Two (2) years of recent acute care experience in an Emergency Department.
