Job Description:
As a skilled Registered Nurse in our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. To be successful in this position, you must have an active Hawaii RN license prior to starting contract. You will be required to work consecutive weekends as needed, with frequent on-call duties.

Position Urgency:
This is a normal urgency position, requiring a balance of stability and flexibility.

Shifts:
Our PACU operates on 8-hour rotating shifts, with weekends included in the rotation. This ensures that our patients receive consistent and high-quality care, even on weekends.

State License Details:
To be eligible for this position, you must have a currently active Hawaii RN license. We prioritize the safety and well-being of our patients, and this requirement ensures that our nurses are up-to-date with the latest medical standards and regulations.

Minimum Years of Experience:
We require a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a focus on post-anesthesia care. This experience will enable you to provide expert care to our patients and navigate the complexities of our PACU.

Minimum Guaranteed Hours:
We offer a minimum of 32 guaranteed hours per week, ensuring that our nurses have a stable and predictable schedule. This allows you to plan your personal and professional life with confidence.

Specialty Type:
This is a nursing position, specifically in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. Our nurses are dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients recovering from anesthesia.

Sub Specialty:
As a PACU nurse, you will specialize in caring for patients who have undergone surgical procedures. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring their safe and comfortable recovery.

General Certifications:
We require our nurses to hold certifications in ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PAL, SNR, PATT. These certifications demonstrate your commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest medical standards and best practices.

Bilingual:
This position does not require bilingual skills. However, we value diversity and welcome applications from candidates who speak multiple languages.

EMR Used:
We utilize Cerner as our electronic medical record system. Familiarity with Cerner is an asset, but not a requirement. We provide comprehensive training to ensure that our nurses are comfortable using our EMR system.

Holiday Coverage Required:
Yes, holiday coverage is required for this position. We understand that this may require some flexibility, but we believe that our nurses are essential to providing exceptional patient care, even on holidays.
