Position Summary

The Cleaning and Sanitation Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of food processing environments. This position involves thorough cleaning and sanitizing of production areas, equipment, and associated facilities in compliance with established sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and healthy workspace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive cleaning and sanitization of floors, walls, and food processing equipment in accordance with the sanitation guidelines.
  • Utilize appropriate cleaning solutions and tools to clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors effectively.
  • Remove dust and debris from packaging areas to maintain a tidy environment.
  • Carefully clean metal detectors and tables to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Perform power washing of floors as needed to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare and mix various cleaning agents safely and effectively.
  • Identify maintenance needs and report them to supervisors promptly.
  • Engage in additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred.
  • Access to a mobile phone and email for communication.
