We are seeking a skilled Instrument Repair Technician to join our team at Music and Arts Co. Defunct. As an Instrument Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining musical instruments to ensure they are returned to customers in good playing condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Repair Instruments: Clean and repair a variety of musical instruments, including brass, woodwind, orchestral, and percussion instruments.
  • Provide Estimates: Provide accurate estimates for repair work to customers.
  • Meet Deadlines: Work efficiently to complete repairs within estimated timeframes and budgets.
  • Work with Various Instruments: Repair and maintain instruments owned by customers and retail stores, ranging from student-level to professional instruments.
  • Deliver High-Quality Work: Perform repairs at an hourly rate exceeding the shop's hourly rate, ensuring excellent quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Additional Duties: Assist with repair clinics, school events, and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with varying noise levels, standing, sitting, and walking. You will be lifting, pushing, and pulling instruments and cases up to 75 pounds. A mild cleaning chemical smell may be present.
