Position: Maintenance Skilled Worker

Are you seeking a dynamic role that offers variety and the opportunity to make a difference? As a Maintenance Skilled Worker, you will support the Facilities Manager in executing maintenance tasks and projects across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently complete all assigned tasks, documentation, and projects within designated timelines.
  • Adhere to scheduled maintenance protocols as outlined in the maintenance manual, along with any additional requirements for program and building certifications.
  • Engage in seasonal preventative maintenance activities, including power washing, furniture relocation, landscaping, and snow removal, while collaborating with fellow maintenance staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a clean, valid NYS driver's license.
  • Demonstrated experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or related trades.
  • Capability to work at various heights using extension ladders and the ability to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey and clarify information effectively.
  • Excellent reasoning abilities and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, requiring travel to various locations using agency vehicles.
