Job Overview

Under the supervision of the Lieutenant, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) plays a crucial role in executing administrative and analytical responsibilities that necessitate initiative, sound judgment, tact, and diplomacy, alongside a comprehensive understanding of relevant administrative practices. This position involves providing research support to the Administrative Lieutenant, managing, coordinating, and aligning the operations of the Executive Office and the commands under the Assistant Commissioners.

Key Responsibilities

The AGPA will:

  • Conduct thorough research and prepare detailed reports.
  • Analyze data and review staff outputs, offering recommendations for improvements.
  • Track project progress and draft various forms of correspondence, including memos and letters.

Work Environment

This role is situated in an office setting, promoting a professional atmosphere conducive to productivity.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must undergo a Background Investigation prior to employment. A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is mandatory and should accompany your application. The SOQ must be formatted as follows:

  • Typed on 8-1/2 x 11 size paper, using Arial 11-point font.
  • Limited to two (2) pages in length with margins no less than one inch.

The SOQ should address the following:

  1. Outline how your experience, education, and training qualify you for this role.
  2. Describe a conflict with a colleague and how you resolved it.
  3. Provide examples of managing multiple tasks with competing priorities and meeting strict deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications
