About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mainframe Security Engineer to join our team at The Charles Schwab Corporation. As a key member of our Cybersecurity Services team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our mainframe environment and ensuring the security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement mainframe security solutions to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain system IDs, operating systems, and security products to ensure the integrity and security of our mainframe environment.
  • Conduct audits and incident investigations to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement mainframe security strategies and architectures.
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience in mainframe security with multiple operating systems, including Windows, Unix, and mainframe systems.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and within teams.
  • Ability to lead small teams in technical tasks and interface with business/technology partners on projects.
