Job Overview

TEKsystems is seeking a Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a corporate and enterprise environment, supporting multiple types of hardware, software, applications, networks, active directory, mobile devices, and peripheral devices. The candidate should also have experience with Windows 10 and MS Office Suites, as well as providing over-the-phone support, chat, and remote support. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

As a Senior Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of the customer and ensuring their satisfaction. You will also provide incident status updates to management and end-users per service level guidelines. Additionally, you will support and maintain effective relationships with users, develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to remote IT support.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Remedy or Smart IT), SCCM, Active Directory, Remote Tools, and MS Office. A working knowledge of PC technical support, systems administration, networking, Windows, and Mac OS is also required. A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.

This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional growth and development. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The company is based in Phoenix or Dallas, and the work environment is stable with opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot end-user desktop application issues and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Provide timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of the customer and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Provide incident status updates to management and end-users per service level guidelines.
  • Support and maintain effective relationships with users.
  • Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to remote IT support.
  • Provide support for PCs, laptops, printers, cell phones, and tablets.
  • Support end-users in their use of applications such as Microsoft Office, ERP, CRM, VPN, Citrix, and MDM.
  • Perform account management and maintenance for various applications and systems.
  • Communicate with customers at all levels of technical and non-technical skills sets.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a corporate and enterprise environment.
  • Experience with Windows 10 and MS Office Suites.
