About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Manager to join our Digital Publishing team at the American College of Cardiology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the JACC Journals' web operations, overseeing web content production, and ensuring a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the JACC Journals' website, ensuring timely posting and cross-linking of web content.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Content Manager, Digital Product Manager, and Web Developer to innovate our products and enhance the reader experience.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase web traffic and enhance discoverability of journal content.
  • Optimize website performance, including page load times, mobile responsiveness, and search engine visibility.
  • Plan and coordinate the acquisition of various types of web content, ensuring timely posting and cross-linking.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Content and Digital Strategy team to ensure alignment between JACC Journals and Enterprise Content Team.
  • Write user stories for product and database analysis, updates, or enhancements.
  • Monitor website analytics and generate reports to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3 years of relevant professional web management, design, and editing experience.
  • Familiarity with design tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Strong competency with HTML and experience with SEO, web analytics, and digital marketing tools.
  • Collaborative, positive attitude with a strong team ethic.
  • Motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize and reprioritize time effectively.
