Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor to teach courses in our Paralegal program. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited institution and an active Texas law license with a minimum of five years of non-teaching experience in a law practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow the approved course descriptions and syllabi established by the Division faculty and administered by the associate dean/director.
  • Teaching assignments may be on one or more of the college's campuses or off-site locations and may include evening and weekend programs.
  • May include Dual Credit courses.
Supplemental Functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with college policies, procedures, and core values.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active Texas law license.
  • Minimum of five years of non-teaching experience in a law practice.
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The position is security-sensitive, and the candidate will be subject to a criminal background check.
