Job DescriptionJob DescriptionScion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a Maintenance Technician  for a luxury apartment building in Bala Cynwyd, PA This direct-hire opportunity.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the maintenance, repair, and functionality of the property to provide a premium living experience for residents. This role involves completing repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, and upholding the high aesthetic and operational standards expected in a luxury setting. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded technical background, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver quality work with excellent customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to lighting, power, heating, cooling, and water supply in individual apartments and common areas.
• Ensure all work is completed with precision and maintains the luxury aesthetic of the property.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functioning of all systems and appliances.
• Inspect common areas and building systems regularly to prevent major repairs and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain records of inspections, services, and repairs.
• Respond promptly and courteously to resident service requests, completing repairs in a timely manner and with minimal disruption.
• Maintain professionalism and provide high-quality service to meet the expectations of luxury residents.
• Support the maintenance of common areas, including lobbies, fitness centers, pools, and other amenities, ensuring they are clean, functional, and presentable.
• Assist with landscaping and groundskeeping as needed to uphold curb appeal and property aesthetics.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency maintenance requests and respond to after-hours calls as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve emergency situations efficiently, minimizing risk and damage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Driverâ?™s license and transportation.
• Have own tools.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential or commercial property maintenance, with experience in luxury apartments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, property management, and team members.
• Ability to work on-call hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The hourly range for this role is $24-$26hr along with a benefits package. This role is eligible for overtime.
