About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Capital Projects Specialist to support the operational business function for the Military Services Group (MSG) contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Capital project setup, execution, and closure through to price filings with the government
  • Support the asset form expense and revenue validation process for all MSG contracts
  • Establishe a strong business partnership with Operations and Capital personnel at the bases and Functional Leads to develop and implement business strategy
  • Provide analytical support to all levels of management, including the Water/Wastewater Past Performance Report and other ad-hoc reporting
  • Assist MSG management in maximizing the business and operational performance of the business by collecting, analyzing, and evaluating MSG financial and operational data
  • Support MSG budget development and management by participating in the operational budgeting and planning process and working with Utility Managers to identify and address budget issues
  • Support business activities related to company contracts and bases, oversight of the submission of invoices, monitoring of O&M, capital, pass through and other expense tracking at a project level
  • Support business development, including developing financial models

Requirements

  • Financial analysis and modeling skills
  • Ability to identify process improvements and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to effectively interact with colleagues, consultants, and utility stakeholders
  • Strong team-working skills and ability to manage/produce in a culturally and geographically diverse, multi-company, matrix organization
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel) with advanced expert
