Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiological procedures, utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment.
  • Use skills and abilities required for age of patient served to include routine, emergent, portable, surgical and fluoroscopic examinations in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  • Image processing, understanding and using the current RIS and PACS system.
  • Work under the supervision of radiologist on an as needed basis.
  • Participate in an on-call or standby schedule as required.
Requirements
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) OR Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon)
  • Basic Life Support within 1 month of hire
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification required at hire from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience performing general radiographic exams using digital equipment within the last three (3) years.
  • Experience with McKesson PACS and EPIC electronic medical records system.
  • Associates degree in Radiologic Science or related field.
