Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Parts Specialist to join our team at O'Reilly Auto Parts. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their automotive needs, and supporting store management in achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers in selecting the right automotive parts and accessories, ensuring they have the necessary information to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Support store management in achieving sales goals, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Operate brake lathes and other store test equipment, performing various in-store services for customers, and occasionally driving a delivery vehicle to make deliveries.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of automotive parts, cataloging, and sales, as well as staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
Requirements
  • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
  • Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service is desired.
  • ASE certification and fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish, are highly valued.
