With a workforce exceeding 5,500, our health network encompasses USA Health University Hospital, USA Health Providence Hospital, USA Health Children's and Women's Hospital, USA Mitchell Cancer Institute, USA Physicians Group, USA Health Care Authority, and the USA College of Medicine.

We are currently seeking full-time board eligible/board certified internists to join our hospitalist team at USA Health Providence.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to collaborate with USA Health Providence in delivering medical services to patients alongside a supportive team of hospitalists.

USA Health Providence is a comprehensive, 349-bed facility offering 24/7 emergency services, personalized maternity care, and advanced programs in heart care, bariatric surgery, and oncology.

Additionally, we operate an outpatient diagnostic center, a freestanding rehabilitation and wellness center, and provide advanced surgical care for critical and life-threatening conditions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Evaluating and treating patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
  • Participating in initiatives aimed at enhancing cost-effectiveness and quality of care.
  • Accepting patient referrals from fellow physicians.
  • Serving as the admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for hospitalized patients based on their medical needs.
  • Engaging in academic programs such as medical education and research as required.
  • Providing documentation that meets insurance requirements and addressing any denials promptly.
  • Participating in inpatient and outpatient consultations for specialty care, which may include on-call responsibilities.
