Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Summit Placement Service, Inc. in a challenging and rewarding outpatient internal medicine role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, prescribing medications and therapies as needed, and collaborating with supervising physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, providing patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
  • Perform minor procedures, such as suturing, wound care, and joint injections, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and best practices, and engage in professional development activities, including attending continuing medical education (CME) courses and staying current with medical advancements.
  • Provide follow-up care, including monitoring patient progress and making referrals to specialists when needed, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $110,000 to $125,000

  • Monday through Friday schedule, 8am to 5pm
