Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Service Manager to join our team at Elmer's Home Services Heating & Air Conditioning. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and motivating our HVAC maintenance and service team to ensure quality onsite service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the HVAC maintenance and service team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Assist in the creation of service and maintenance schedules to ensure timely and reliable service delivery.
  • Order and track materials required for quoted jobs and scheduled maintenance to ensure seamless execution.
  • Review and approve weekly time cards to ensure accurate and timely payment to team members.
  • Prepare quotations for recommended work and prepare new or renewal maintenance agreements to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate and provide updates to customers and project managers to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Review technicians' work to ensure quality meets established standards and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Organize training and ongoing support for install teams to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality service.
  • Provide technical support for HVAC technicians to ensure they have the necessary resources and guidance to resolve complex issues.
  • Ensure technician licenses and certificates are renewed and kept up to date to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements.
Requirements
  • Valid Texas driver's license.
  • Working knowledge of Service Titan.
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the Commercial HVAC market.
  • Willingness for more training in the area of HVAC.
  • In-field technician experience is a definite asset.
  • Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
  • Reliable and self-motivated.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
  • Ability to field after-hour calls if required.
  • Ability to build relationships with partners and other organizations.
  • Ability to follow all safety procedures as well as abide by all performance standards and code of ethics.
