Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at SpartanNash. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing medication and other healthcare products to patients.
  • Prepare prescribed medication for patients by counting tablets, labeling bottles, and stocking products.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain patient profiles and insurance claims.
  • Operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and efficient medication dispensing.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of prior customer service-oriented pharmacy-related experience preferred.
  • State registration or certification required.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
  • Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this role include standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
