Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at SpartanNash. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

• Assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing medication and other healthcare products to patients
• Prepare prescribed medication for patients by counting tablets, labeling bottles, and stocking products
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain patient profiles and insurance claims
• Operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One year of prior customer service-oriented pharmacy-related experience preferred
• State registration or certification required
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
• Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail
