Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Parts Team Lead to join our team. This is a key role that requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Conducts in-depth analysis of parts sales, customer handling, and warranty claim processes within the Regional Parts Department.
  • Serves as a primary source for reporting on retailer performance and provides recommendations for improvement.
  • Performs ad-hoc analysis as requested by the Regional Parts and Service Manager (RPSM) or field staff to ensure efficient and effective warranty compliance and policy adjustments.
Main Responsibilities
  1. Tracks, analyzes, and reports on retailer performance in the Parts and Service area using various tools and systems.
  2. Supports the RPSM in attaining parts and accessory sales objectives through data-driven insights and analysis.
  3. Assists in improving non-technical training plan compliance among retailers and reinforces business plans.
  4. Oversees departmental budget and administers regional contests and incentives.
  5. Executes analytics of program incentives, training initiatives, product launches, and workshops to inform retailer contact visits.
  6. Attends SOA-sponsored training activities to enhance knowledge of Subaru programs and products.
  7. Collaborates with Zone Retailer Aftersales Manager (ZRAM) and District Parts/Service Manager (DPSM) on retailer process improvements.
  8. Covers for DPSM in reviewing Policy Adjustment Requests (PARs) and handles general questions regarding assigned PARs.
  9. Analyzes and counsels with RPSM on warranty processes, cost, and frequency.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Travels with District and staff managers to learn the regional territory and parameters of dealership activity.
  • Represents Subaru in a professional manner at meetings and training sessions.
  • Learns DPSM responsibilities through observation and discussion with assigned DPSM/DSQM manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology/Management or related field.
  • Prior automotive experience preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Estimated Salary Range

$69,000 - $76,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
