About the Role:

The Inpatient Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients at our facility. This includes diagnosing and treating mental illnesses through a combination of personal counseling, psychotherapy, and medication.

Responsibilities:

Provide clinical services to patients at the facility
Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures
Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders
Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications

Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required
One or more years post graduate degree practice preferred
Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate
Board certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry required
Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working
