Job Summary:

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking an exceptional Addiction Psychiatrist to join our clinical track faculty positions. As a clinician-educator or clinician-scholar, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the development of our educational programs.

The successful candidate will provide psychiatric care for patients with addiction psychiatry and medicine needs, working across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will also be expected to participate in departmental and medical school committees, as well as engage in teaching and mentoring activities.

Responsibilities:

Provide psychiatric care for patients with addiction psychiatry and medicine needs (90%):
Service on departmental and medical school committees (5%):
Participate in teaching and mentoring activities (5%):

Requirements:

Terminal degree in medicine (MD or DO)
Successful completion of residency in Psychiatry
Successful completion of a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry
Board Eligible/Board Certified
Wisconsin Medical License
DEA certifications
Credentialed with UW Health managed care plans

Work Environment:

This position requires work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
