Job Title: Director of Business Analytics and Innovation

About the Role:

The Director of Business Analytics and Innovation will be responsible for developing and implementing business analytics, digital, intelligence, technology, and innovation strategies to drive business growth and improvement. This role will involve defining and executing strategy, driving programs, projects, and processes, managing a team of Business Analysts, and contributing to the overall business results by identifying strategic, technology, and efficiency opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and enforce corporate safety policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to our number one core value: Safety first in all we do.
  • Develop and implement a company-wide business intelligence framework.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of data analytics tools and platforms.
  • Direct the activities of the analytics team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of business insights to drive strategic business decisions, improve operational efficiency, and identify new opportunities.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and quality.
  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in data analytics.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in business analytics and innovation leadership roles managing projects, delivering solutions, implementing technology initiatives, and driving change management.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, data mining techniques, predictive modeling, and business forecasting.
  • Experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and data visualization.
  • Hands-on experience with various technologies (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and a willingness to dive into technical details when necessary.
  • Advanced degree in computer science, data management, finance, statistics, or related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience, preferred.
  • Experience in the construction industry, preferred.
