Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP, Operations to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Deposit Operations & Card Services teams, overseeing record retention records, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop a high-performing team of Deposit Operations & Card Services staff
- Oversee the maintenance of credit union records, including master signature card files, trust documents, and business documents
- Coordinate with other departments and outside agencies to ensure proper action and follow-up on bond loss claims and abandoned property
- Lead or participate in organization-wide initiatives and projects, ensuring proper change management and communication
- Provide operational support to all credit union staff, serving as an information resource for system problems and member issues
- Ensure operational integrity by monitoring adherence to internal policies and procedures, and external regulations
- 10-12 years of experience in operations management
- Strong leadership qualities, with a big picture and pragmatic approach
- Demonstrated capability and passion for developing talent and a culture of innovation, collaboration, and engagement
- Excellent analytic, organization, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and work independently
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
