POSITION TITLE: Junior Pastry Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY: The Junior Pastry Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the Pastry Chef with the meticulous preparation of a variety of baked goods and desserts in alignment with the club's established recipes and standards. This position is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of food quality and sanitation. A comprehensive understanding and application of various culinary techniques are essential.

In addition to assisting the Pastry Chef with primary responsibilities, the Junior Pastry Specialist will also collaborate with other kitchen personnel in the presentation of banquet dishes and related tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, closing duties such as organizing food items, ensuring proper storage of clean containers, securely covering all items in coolers and freezers, and thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing all work areas. This role also involves restocking necessary supplies and maintaining cleanliness through sweeping and mopping.
