Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our Enterprise Information Management Office (EIMO). The successful candidate will be responsible for formalizing data governance and records management practices, ensuring the quality of our data, and strengthening security and audit practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data management solutions that meet business needs.
  • Monitor and analyze data quality metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement data security and audit practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and department heads to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data governance and management.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related analytical field, plus five (5) years of experience with a Master's degree or seven (7) years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related role.
  • Five (5) years of experience must include: Working with all features of Tableau Data Sources, Extracts, Variety of Data Visualizations, including Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Tableau cloud, Tableau Online, Tableau Mobile, Tableau Public, Tableau Reader, Tableau Prep, SQL, Business Objects, and Tableau Bridge.
  • Two (2) years of experience must include: Creating and planning architecture and on-boarding plan for Alteryx Software using Alteryx Server, Alteryx Designer, and Alteryx Intelligent Suite.
