Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Global Intelligence Logistics (GIL) Software Support Team (SST) operating within a sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF), providing support to the INSCOM G4 Logistical community and personnel across the contract.
  • Ensure timely delivery of SST project outcomes, adhere to project timelines, and manage the execution of SST software.
  • Collaborate with national-level agencies and Materiel Developers to integrate software and technical solutions for intelligence community clients, evolving software for SIGINT, CI, HUMINT, OSINT, FISINT, GEOINT, CYBER, and forensic intelligence; integrate with existing Department of Defense assets as required.
  • Act as the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), responsible for:
  • Establishing and maintaining a formal information security program, including a System Security Plan (SSP), user guidelines, and policies for the designated area.
  • Supervising Information Systems Security Officers (ISSOs) to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Reviewing and reporting on SST-related documentation generated by the Materiel Developer and other sources.
  • Providing comprehensive lifecycle support for mission system software, including configuration management, training, and integration of DoD enterprise software for future clients, ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements and IAVA standards.
  • Conducting troubleshooting for SST services, configurations, user accounts, and IAVA-related issues.
  • Maintaining SST baselines for all supported systems, managing specialized software licenses, warranty tracking, and providing upgrade recommendations to the Government.
  • Developing and implementing effective management control/access features based on functional areas similar to current permissions on NexGEN.
  • Ensuring SST revisions are compatible with geospatial referencing applications and/or plugins that facilitate integration into widely used mapping features.
  • Configuring devices for secure operation, including installing SST updates, security software, and other necessary configurations.
  • Monitoring contract configuration assessments, fielding, testing, modernization, reset, de-fielding, demilitarization, and disposal of sensitive equipment.
  • Providing virtual assistance sessions through tools like Windows Remote Assistance.
  • Delivering on-site support for network operations infrastructure, desktop assistance, network password management using Microsoft Active Directory, and maintenance of off-the-shelf online applications, including database backup support and preventive maintenance of hardware and software infrastructure.
  • Preparing property accountability and transportation documentation as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Business Management from an accredited institution, along with eight years of relevant experience; or an Associate Degree in Information Technology with five years of relevant experience, or eight years of military training in MI Systems Integration.
  • Ability to navigate confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience in maintenance and integration of two or more of the following systems: GRCS; Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance Surveillance System (EMARSS); Tactical Command Data Link (TDCL); GRCS Operational Ground Station (OGS); Distributed Common Ground Station-Army (DCGS-A); software-defined SIGINT collection platforms; biometrics collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination equipment; CI/HUMINT support systems; TROJAN systems; or satellite communication terminals.
  • Possession of IAT Tier I and II certifications as applicable for the roles and functions of the computing environment. The Government reserves the right to require Tier III certification for positions performing IAT Level III functions. Strong communication skills at senior management levels and proven leadership abilities to manage a diverse workforce.
  • Must be a US Citizen with a Final Top-Secret Clearance based on a TIER 5 Background Investigation and favorable eligibility determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) in accordance with ICD 704. Some roles may require a Counterintelligence (CI) Scope Polygraph.
