Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Global Intelligence Logistics (GIL) Software Support Team (SST) operating within a sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF), providing support to the INSCOM G4 Logistical community and personnel across the contract.
- Ensure timely delivery of SST project outcomes, uphold all project timelines, and manage executable software for SST.
- Collaborate with national-level agencies and Materiel Developers to integrate software and technical solutions related to SST for intelligence community clients, as directed by the Government, evolving software capabilities across various intelligence domains.
- Act as the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), responsible for:
- Establishing and maintaining a formal information security program, including a System Security Plan (SSP), user guidelines, and policies relevant to the assigned responsibilities.
- Supervising assigned Information Systems Security Officers (ISSOs) to ensure adherence to established security policies and procedures.
- Reviewing and reporting on SST-related documentation from Materiel Developers and other sources.
- Providing comprehensive lifecycle support for mission system software, including configuration management, training, and integration of DoD enterprise software, ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements and IAVA standards.
- Conducting troubleshooting for SST services, configurations, user accounts, and IAVA-related issues.
- Maintaining SST baselines for all supported systems, managing specialized software licenses, warranty tracking, and providing upgrade recommendations to the Government.
- Developing and implementing effective management control/access features based on functional areas similar to current permissions.
- Ensuring SST revisions are compatible with geospatial referencing applications and other widely used mapping features.
- Configuring devices for secure operations, including installing SST updates and security software as needed.
- Monitoring contract configuration assessments, fielding, testing, modernization, and disposal of sensitive equipment.
- Facilitating virtual assistance sessions using collaboration tools.
- Providing on-site support for network operations, desktop management, and sustainment of online applications, including database backup and hardware/software maintenance.
- Preparing necessary property accountability and transportation documentation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Business Management from an accredited institution, along with eight years of relevant experience; or an Associate Degree in Information Technology with five years of relevant experience, or eight years of military training in MI Systems Integration.
- Ability to navigate confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in maintenance and integration of multiple systems, including but not limited to GRCS, EMARSS mission equipment, TDCL, and various intelligence support systems.
- Possession of IAT Tier I and II certifications as applicable, with the potential requirement for Tier III certification for certain roles. Strong communication skills and leadership abilities to manage a diverse workforce.
- Must be a US Citizen with a Final Top-Secret Clearance based on a TIER 5 Background Investigation and eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) in accordance with ICD 704.
