The State of Vermont is proud to offer a challenging and rewarding career opportunity as an Education Consultant II. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality of Vermont educator preparation programs through the Result's Oriented Program Approval (ROPA) process.

About the Job

This position requires a minimum of five years of experience in a field related to education, teaching, or provision of related student support services. Alternatively, two years of experience as an Education Consultant I within the State of Vermont may also be considered. You will work closely with our Pre-service Team to review, evaluate, and report on Vermont educator preparation programs, processing transcript review applications, and supporting multiple licensing processes during peak times.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent facilitation and presentation skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience with accrediting bodies, program evaluation, training, and facilitating teams for program evaluation/observation/data collection for compliance reporting are highly desirable.

Compensation

Your annual salary will be approximately $65,000 - $75,000, depending on your qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes 80% state-paid medical premium and dental plan, 11 paid holidays per year, generous leave plan, state-paid family and medical leave insurance, and much more.
