Culinary Operations Director

Gecko Hospitality, a dynamic hospitality company, is seeking an experienced Culinary Operations Director to lead our kitchen team in High Point, NC. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and upholding high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:- Operations Management: Ensure efficient completion of all kitchen tasks, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning.
- Staff Management: Handle scheduling, performance evaluations, and necessary disciplinary actions for the kitchen staff.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Financial Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager to meet financial goals through cost control and menu planning.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory and order supplies while controlling waste and spoilage.
- Guest Experience: Collaborate with the front-of-house team to provide exceptional guest experiences.
- Health Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a managerial role.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on motivation and coaching.
- Operational Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, including food safety and proper handling techniques.
- Inventory Proficiency: Expertise in inventory management and cost control.
