Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee server room operations and management, including data backups.
- Drive automation and innovation initiatives, particularly utilizing PowerShell.
- Manage procurement processes, asset tracking, and inventory control.
- Ensure the maintenance and troubleshooting of audio/visual equipment.
- Administer and maintain telecommunications systems.
- Oversee the administration of proprietary applications.
- Manage third-party system administration.
- Plan and optimize capacity utilization.
- Administer helpdesk operations.
- Conduct training sessions.
- Implement disaster recovery and ensure high availability.
- Focus on cybersecurity measures.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficient in troubleshooting, maintaining, and deploying Windows PCs.
- Experience with printers and copiers.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN), including RF setup and configuration for warehouses.
- Knowledge of Windows Server Administration, including Active Directory and Group Policies.
- Basic understanding of Linux Server Administration.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
- Experience in remote administration.
- Knowledge of mobile device management (iOS/Android).
- Awareness of cybersecurity protocols.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, or Linux are advantageous.
- A background in IT helpdesk support is preferred.
