We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Title Clerk to join our Accounting department. This role will work in tandem with our current retail title clerk, ensuring seamless title processing and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process wholesale title work and billing
  • Manage trade payoffs and out-of-state title transactions
  • Properly title new and used sales for the dealership
  • Assist with retail title transactions, ensuring timely processing in accordance with NCDMV regulations
  • Prepare trade-in documentation and contact banks for lien releases
  • Follow up with customers or vendors on outstanding title issues
  • Verify costs and transactions for each vehicle sale
  • Prepare necessary paperwork for submission to the tag agency
  • Ensure compliance with state requirements for tag and title work
  • Provide administrative support as needed
Requirements
  • Prefer 3 or more years of title clerk experience in an auto dealership or tag agency
  • Knowledge of out-of-state titles is a plus
  • CVR Software (Title-Tec) experience preferred
  • Previous experience working in a busy office environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Knowledge in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
