Job Summary

The Relationship Specialist will provide exceptional customer service and ensure prompt attention to our farmer owners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, growing business with new customers, and maintaining existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt attention and assistance to meet their needs.
  • Maintain and increase sales of agronomy and feed products, grain origination, and marketing with existing customers and grow business with new customers.
  • Complete grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers and purchases as applicable.
  • Act as a resource for other employees on operational procedures for scale/receiving area, invoicing, and grain contracts.
  • Document and submit sales call information in our CRM system.
  • Assist with inventory control of products offered at our locations.
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Prepare accurate and timely invoices, ensuring equitable calculation of products and services provided.
  • Verify sales invoices for accuracy on a daily basis.
  • Monitor agronomy sales contracts and prepay for accuracy.

Requirements

  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Understanding of the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.

Preferred Skills

  • One year of related experience.
  • Good computer skills.
