How will you have an impact in this role?

We are seeking a motivated individual to lead a team of Relationship Specialists to position the Landus farmer-owners at the center of all we do. At Landus, you’ll find a fun team atmosphere and a stable career that offers excellent benefits for full-time employees This position will oversee a team of relationship specialists to assure technical competence and provide outstanding customer service while effectively coordinating office operations to contribute to overall company profitability and community relations.

What will you do?

  • Develop and deliver new operational procedures and strategies for scale operation, invoicing, grain contracts, and inventory control.
  • Provide daily direction to relationship specialist and operations personnel and all duties associated.
  • Coach the relationship specialists on new ways of resolution of any customer concerns and issues and in doing so utilize the necessary support of Landus to assist.
  • Foster a culture of strong commitment to customer service.
  • Support ongoing in-house phone contact, promoting sales of Landus products/services and be able to communicate information to customers by phone or in person.
  • Work with agronomy sales staff/grain originator to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Record all customer activity using Landus Link.
  • Assure consistent, timely and accurate implementation of company policies and procedures related to sales/service, credit, location operations, building maintenance, personnel, and safety.
  • Support the Grow team in initiatives and work with locations on company projects.
  • Develop ongoing general awareness of Landus Cooperative’s products/services and be able to communicate information to customers.
  • Continually assess the marketplace and customer needs to identify opportunities within the area to grow Landus market share.
  • Effectively lead others by selecting and retaining talent, managing performance, developing employees, engaging in frequent communications, building teams, motivating others, managing vision, managing conflict and demonstrating values and ethics
  • Champion of safety compliance throughout organization.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4-year degree and/or 3-5 years agricultural business experience preferred
  • Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license.
