About the Opportunity

We have a rewarding Physical Therapist position available at our senior living facility in Shelton. As a therapy professional, you will provide outpatient services to residents in our state-of-the-art therapy gym or their rooms. This opportunity offers flexibility with home health scheduling and is open to part-time or PRN options as well.

This role includes patient assessment, treatment, and education, ensuring effective patient care through collaboration with healthcare providers. You will also maintain accurate records and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and flexibility.
  • Providing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other treatments to enhance functionality and alleviate pain.
  • Maintaining accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, valid state licensure, and strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
