Job Summary

GW Lisk Company Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tool Crib Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our tool crib, including the receipt, storage, and issuance of tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, store, and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of issues and returns using a computer database.
  • Utilize PC Toolcrib and Syteline to manage inventory and maintain database integrity.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts and maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
  • Prepare tool kits for machining as needed and work closely with other departments to determine tooling and material requirements.
  • Order tooling as necessary and monitor and update inventory levels.
  • Designate locations for new tooling and exercise proper care in handling tools, reporting any need for repair or replacement to a superior.
  • Handle routine problems in the tool crib, including searching for missing tools, gauges, prints, etc.
  • Run reports as needed and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Detail-oriented with excellent attendance and customer service skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including database experience, Word, and Excel. PC Toolcrib and Syteline are a plus
Preferred Qualifications
  • Able to read simple drawings and use scale, calipers, and simple measuring instruments
  • Tooling experience and identification of tool types
