Job Title:
Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to provide technical support for new product development and factory support of existing products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, structural analysis, and design.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide mechanical engineering support for new product development and factory support of existing products
Translate product requirements into mechanical specifications and test plans
Execute verification testing and conduct design analysis and testing
Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation
Structural analysis of aircraft modifications, including design support and preparation of technical documentation
Sustainment engineering, including installation coordination and transition from engineering design to manufacturing

Requirements:
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or related field
Familiarity with CAD or analysis tools, such as FEA, and/or experience in mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems
Working knowledge of one programming language and familiarity with finite element methods and fatigue and damage tolerance principles

Preferred Skills:
CAD or analysis tools exposure, and/or experience in mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures, and mechanisms
Familiarity with transducer instrumentation, data collection, and/or automation and software programming for numerical analysis
Must be able to apply the principles of Structural Mechanics to predict internal stresses and structural instabilities
