Currently seeking an EHS Compliance Coordinator for a distinguished leader in the Medical Device sector. This role requires onsite presence in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Note: This is not a remote position.

As an EHS Compliance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the facility by overseeing environmental regulations, workplace safety, and health initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert guidance on EHS compliance and managing various EHS projects, including Machine Guarding, Equipment Safety, Lock Out Tag Out, Hazardous Materials, and Emergency Preparedness.
  • Implementing and refining programs and procedures to address both current and emerging EHS and security challenges in line with local, state, and corporate standards.
  • Establishing and maintaining a robust incident investigation process to identify root causes of safety issues.
  • Interpreting and advising on compliance policies such as OSHA and EPA to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Collaborating with site leadership and staff to strive for zero health and safety incidents throughout the year.
  • Monitoring EHS performance metrics and proactively addressing any negative trends.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A comprehensive understanding of contemporary Safety, Health, and Environmental challenges, including risk management and regulatory compliance, is essential. Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GxP) environments, particularly in training and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) development, is advantageous.
