About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Travel LPN. This opportunity allows an LPN to travel locally by working in various Good Samaritan Society locations within a 150-mile radius from their home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.

As a Travel LPN, you will have the ability to work at multiple locations, supporting residents' health, comfort, and safety while contributing to their assessments and administering medications or treatments as ordered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nursing duties such as administering medications, contributing to resident assessments, and ensuring the health and safety of residents.
  • Contribute to the assessment of residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
  • Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Document resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
  • Hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
  • Ongoing education and training requirements for department-specific competencies and certifications.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $24.00 - $36.00 per hour.
  • Mileage reimbursement.
  • Additional $5 per hour float premium.
  • Additional $1.25 per hour weekend shift differential.
  • Additional $1.25 per hour evening/night shift differential; 6:00pm – 6:00am.
  • 3-month previous experience in Long Term Care required, 6 months preferred.
