As a Senior Product Engineer at Millennium Space Systems, you will be responsible for leading the development of avionics hardware products. This role requires a strong technical background in electrical engineering and project management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead integrated product teams spanning disciplines and departments
- Maintain accountability of technical development, budget, and schedule across products
- Communicate and advocate for products
- Reduce design cycle time
- Drive integrated product team design cycles to facilitate iteration speed
- Identify and measure key performance indicators
- Improve on-time delivery rate of products
- Production expertise for avionics products
- Increase first pass yield of products
- Reduce discrepancy report lifetime
- Lead design for manufacturing initiatives for PCB/PCBA electro-mechanical avionics boxes
- Lead SMC-S-016 based acceptance and qualification programs ensuring product workmanship and design margin
- Mentor to other Product Engineers
- Degree in electrical, computer, or other relevant engineering
- 5+ years developing and manufacturing electromechanical assemblies
- Extensive knowledge of PCB/PCBA development, manufacturing, and testing
- Proficiency with Altium Designer or similar electrical design tools
- Strong project management skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Ability to lead through influence
- Schematic design and PCB layout experience in at least one of the following sub-specialties: analog mixed-signal, power conversion, computing, communications
- Prior experience leading integrated product teams for space qualified hardware

Salary RangeLevel 3: $96,050 - $141,250
Level 4: $120,700 - $177,500
