About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Saviynt. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for validating a highly scalable and extensible SaaS-enabled Platform, working with internal customers on adoption, and identifying and resolving problems throughout the project life cycle.

You will be working closely with cross-functional teams like Product Management and other teams to understand priorities and drive testability and diagnostic ability into products. You will also be responsible for developing automated tests, test harnesses, and applications and services under test.

Additionally, you will be collaborating directly with software developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure proper development and quality of Saviynt applications and products. You will also be participating in efforts to share automation testing technology and expertise within the company.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for performing tasks to meet project deadlines and working together with the team to ensure project success. You will also be helping to define and participate in software development processes that leverage best practices and support continuous product delivery.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in an Engineering discipline, OR a Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of professional software engineering experience or an equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: .NET, Python, or Java
  • Experience in testing enterprise-level systems and applications
  • Working experience with API testing and test automation frameworks and tools
  • Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD implementations and the ability to develop scripts and parameters
  • Experience with Selenium web driver and Selenium Grid
  • Significant experience in quality assurance processes, software lifecycle, testing, planning, execution, and defect tracking
  • Hands-on experience with agile methodologies
  • Strong experience developing high-quality automation frameworks
  • Experience with automation, web deployment, and engineering environment tools such as Mocha, Jasmine, JIRA, GitHub, GitLab
  • Experience in testing applications on Cloud infrastructure, including Azure and Amazon Web Services
  • Experience with Security testing and static analysis tools
  • Experience in querying complex schemas and relational databases
  • Proven knowledge of a standard software quality assurance methodology, components, deliverables, and how these integrate within the software development lifecycle

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, and training. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Saviynt, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $120,000 - $140,000 annually. You may also be eligible to participate in a Saviynt discretionary bonus plan, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
