Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, as ordered by the attending physician.
- Assess patient conditions and notify the Occupational Therapist of any changes.
- Counsel patients and their families on disease management and proper use of equipment.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Current license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) in the state of employment.
- Minimum one year of experience as an OTA in an acute care setting, with home care experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
