About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Alumni Relations Manager to join our team at the University of South Carolina. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with alumni, fostering a sense of community and connection among our graduates, and supporting the growth of our college's alumni network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to engage and steward alumni, including event planning, communication, and outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with alumni, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders to develop innovative programs and initiatives that promote alumni involvement and support.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of alumni contact information, engagement history, and other relevant data.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies to effectively engage and connect with alumni through various channels, including social media, email, and print publications.
  • Provide administrative support to the Alumni Council, including organizing meetings, events, and communications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of experience in alumni relations, development, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
